Norfolk Hoopstars Trials for 2023/24 Performance Teams

Following the conclusion of the 2022/23 NBL season we’re now focusing our attention on preparation for the 2023/24 season. Norfolk Hoopstars is excited to announce that we will be hosting trials on 21st May, 2023 for our performance teams for the upcoming season. After a successful season, we are looking to build upon our current teams and enter even more teams into the National Basketball League and Norfolk Basketball League.



For the next season, we will be entering performance teams in the following leagues:

U12 Norfolk League Mixed (School years 5 - 7)

U12 NBL Mixed (School years 6 - 7)

U14 NBL Boys (School years 8 - 9)

U16 NBL Men (School years 10 - 11)

U18 Norfolk League Mixed (School years 12 - 13)

 

*The school year refers to which school year your child will be from Sept 2023.

 

Due to a high level of interest, the trial process will be split across different age groups. The trials will take place at City Academy Norwich, 299 Bluebell Rd, Norwich NR4 7LP



10:00-11:30 - U12s Mixed Gender - Both u12 NBL and u12 Norfolk League - two teams will be selected from all attendees.

U12 Norfolk League - As of Sept 2023 - Year 5, 6 & 7

U12 NBL - As of Sept 2023 - Year 6 & Year 7

11:30-1pm - U14 Boys NBL - As of Sept 2023 - Year 8 & 9

1-2.30pm - U16 Boys NBL - As of Sept 2023 - Year 10 & 11

2.30pm - 4pm - U18 Mixed Gender Norfolk League -  As of Sept 2023 - Year 12 & 13



We welcome all players, both new and existing, to come and trial for our performance teams. The trials will take place on Sunday 21st of May and the fee for each player is £7, which will be due on Monday 15th May. If you would like to sign your child up to trial for one of the performance teams please complete the form linked here by Monday 15th May. If you are unable to attend on this date, please complete the form linked and let us know the reason in the notes section. We will then make contact with you directly to discuss this further.

Being part of one of our performance teams is a fantastic opportunity for players to take their game to the next level.
