In our commitment to making basketball accessible to all and increase basketball participation in Norfolk, we actively participate in various community events, fun days, and the Royal Norfolk Show. These initiatives allow us to connect with our community, promote our club, and share our love for the game.

NR2 Family Day
What an incredible day it was at the NR2 Family Fun Day, held at the Belvedere Community Centre on September 1st, 2023! We were thrilled to be a part of this vibrant community event that brought together around 350 people from all walks of life.
One of the highlights of the day was undoubtedly the array of sports activities, and we were ecstatic to play a pivotal role in making it a resounding success. In fact, 24% of the participants singled out the sports activities as the best part of the event!
Not only did we have our talented basketball players in action, but we also got some unexpected and exciting participants involved – the local police! They joined us on the court, adding an extra layer of fun and camaraderie to the day.
At Norfolk Hoopstars, we're not just about playing basketball; we're about building bridges, fostering connections, and creating memorable moments within our community. The NR2 Family Fun Day was a perfect embodiment of these values, and we can't wait for more opportunities to bring sports, joy, and unity to our community.
The Royal Norfolk Show
The Royal Norfolk Show is a great event that happens every year. It is a time where people from all over come to see the newest and old faces of the event. This year, we were able to spend two days at the show. We got to see so many new and old faces, which was great. We also got to see a lot of interest generated during the event. This is always a great thing to see.
