Hoops Weekly Vol. 31 - Camp days, Coaching course & Holiday

WEEKLY UPDATE

U17 Inter-County Tournament - Boys Tournament

A huge congratulations to Henry and Lennie, Coach Honey and Coach Anthony who made it through to the final, finishing 2nd overall. A fantastic day of basketball at Sportspark showcasing the talent we have in Norfolk.

U17 Inter-County Tournament - Girls Tournament

It was certainly a weird feeling supporting Coach Mia who was represeting Suffolk, however we were very proud of how she did - winning the Girls tournament with a very strong Suffolk side.

At the end of the course, learners will be able to:

- Identify the roles and responsibilities of the Coach Assistant.

- Identify how to create a great participant experience in Basketball.

- Identify the basic principles of the game.

- Identify the core skills needed to play the game.

- Develop ideas on how to deliver safe, fun and relevant game.

Learners must:

- Be at least 14 years of age - if you would like to be considered the course and are not yet 14, please let us know and we can see if you can consider, based off your current basketball experience.

If is recommended that learners have access to a mentor to support their development as a Coach Assistant. Claire is able to support learners in their development to obtain their qualification if required.
